About Us

Jacques Café was started when we discovered the wonderful taste of freshly roasted coffee. We began by sharing this coffee with family and friends. Now we have grown into a business that can offer that same great taste to you. We do our best to provide you with some of the best coffee available. Being a small roaster we can give you the personnel attention that you are looking for.

We are a member of the Specialty Coffee Association of America.

Storing and Handling Roasted Coffee

Store coffee in an air tight container, that will keep light out.

Grind your coffee immediately before brewing.

Do not store coffee in the refrigerator, it is the worst thing you could do to your coffee. Instead buy only what you can use in 2 weeks.

If you have to keep coffee for longer than 2 weeks, you need to freeze it. Put beans in a freezer bag and remove excess air before sealing. When you want coffee take out only the amount of beans you need for the day, immediately reseal the bag and return it to the freezer. Allow beans to thaw before grinding.
